KDDL Ltd. was established in 1983 with a watch dial factory in technical collaboration with Leschot SA of Switzerland. KDDL Ltd (Formerly known as Kamla Dials & Devices Ltd.) has today established itself as the premium manufacturer of high-quality watch dials and hands with state-of-the-art factories at Parwanoo (Himachal Pradesh), Derabassi (Punjab) and Bangalore (Karnataka).

The watch hands production factory at Bangalore was set up in 1997. Its global customer base is concentrated in India, Switzerland and Hong Kong.

EIGEN, the precision stamping division was established in 2004 to cater to a wide range of requirements from automobile, electronics and other fine engineering applications.

The retail chain ETHOS, established in 2003, has grown into India's largest retailer of Swiss watches.
